Behavior Policy
Our class is full of unique and energetic individuals! We will continue community building strategies and promoting a respectful, responsible learning environment. In the event of students engaging in distracting behaviors; oral redirection will be given, followed by written reflections, then parent contact and consequences. Birthdays Birthdays are fun and everybody has one! If you would like to provide treats for your child’s special day, please talk to me the week before so we can set aside a small amount of time for celebrations. The best time is in the last 20 minutes of the day. Homework Policy All 4th Grade students will have approximately 40 minutes of homework each night, per LAUSD homework policy. If your student is having difficulty completing the nightly homework in the allotted time frame, please notify your teacher of the situation. If you would like extended practice, please refer to the RESOURCES page. Parent Involvement Policy Teachers will seek out parent volunteers for various learning experiences and field trips this year. |
